Sales concern the transaction of goods and services in exchange for money. It could be said that a sale is the successful conclusion of a good marketing plan. Sales and marketing training is designed to give you the skills you need to communicate the benefits of your product and service and to respond to a potential customer's buying signals.
Virtually everything within the world can be marketed and traded. Since these skills can be applied to every conceivable service, commodity or product, skilled professionals who have enjoyed sales and marketing training are highly valued. Following your sales and marketing training, your first task is to research the market, then promote and sell yourself. This is mainly administrative in nature and you would be expected to carry out tasks under the direct supervision of a senior colleague.
