Tennessee is rightly famous for its country music, and the Nashville Country Music Hall of Fame is a not to be missed museum for fans. Tennessee has much more to be proud of than just its music though. The Volunteer State offers some great outdoor experiences, from the rolling farmlands on the Mississippi to the forests of the Appalachian Mountains.
Although much of its open space is has been preserved, Tennessee has evolved from a predominantly agricultural state into an industrial one with the population concentrated in urban centers of which Memphis and Nashville-Davidson are the largest. With seven other states on its borders, Tennessee is a great place to live, to study, and to explore form.
